This is the ORAMM (Off Road Assault on Mt. Mitchell) race course. The Course includes Kitsuma Ridge, Youngs Peak, Star Gap, Jarrett Creek Road, Curtis Creek Road, Blue Ridge Parkway and Heartbreak ridge (from the top - it omits the hike-a-bike from the parkway).
The route starts in the center of town in Black Mountain, at the intersection of Rt 70 and hwy 1103. You can also start at the Old Fort Picnic Area (on route) just up hwy 1400
